Workshops

Several times throughout the year, Redwood SWCD hosts in-the-field workshops. This is a great way for landowners and producers to connect with conservation experts while gaining hands-on experience involving soil health, water quality, and more. Classroom Outreach

Redwood SWCD provides a number of classroom presentations on a wide variety of topics to students in Redwood County schools. One of the favorites of the teachers and students is the presentation utilizing the district’s groundwater model that addresses water quality. The dye is used to show how “pollutants” travel to wells and into our surface water.  It is typically presented to fifth-grade students in the spring.

Presentations can be developed upon request or tailored to fit classrooms of any age.
